In 2005, RF&G Life Insurance Company was formed by merging the Life and Medical portfolios of F&G Insurance Company with Regent Life which was already a leading specialist life assurer.
The company was renamed RF&G Life Insurance to reflect the marriage of the two most important insurance companies in the Belize domestic market.
- RF&G Life has authorized and fully paid up share capital of 3 million dollars.
- RF&G Life's premium income estimated for the operating year 2008 is some 4 million dollars.
